Junction City
Located at the junction of Oregon 99W and Oregon 99E between Corvallis and Eugene, the city was not named for that junction. Instead, it was where the two lines of a rail line were intended to meet when named by Ben Holladay in the 1870s. In more modern times, the city is more known for its high school football teams and its annual Scandinavian Festival.
